Ken Hohing’s work represents a continuing desire to investigate societal taboos associated with the natural world. Scenes of death and decay are ‘fleshed out’ and presented to reveal the inherent beauty of natural forms in spite of tendencies toward revulsion and repulsion. Some images are layered with rusted, stained and distressed materials to emphasize the eternal decomposition of all things natural and unnatural.
Jeffrey Yuan Jeffrey Yuan is a New Jersey-based artist born in New York City and Trained as a molecular biologist. Yuan uses the image to bring the viewer into the artist’s inner world, one where man is an unseen transitory observer and the presence of empty space is just as important as the presence of a solid object.
Keith Sharp manipulates photos in new and extraordinary ways. His pictures are self-consciously created and carefully worked-out photos that accept the importance of the everyday and the ordinary.
